Ministry to inspect real estate firms

HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Construction (MoC) will carry out routine compliance inspections on investment and business practices at many big real estate firms in  二0 一 九, including MBLand, Mipec, Lạc Hồng, Thường Tín and Eurowindow Nha Trang.

The ministry said it planned to carry out  九0 inspections in different sectors including planning management, transportation projects, civil and industrial projects, infrastructure, building materials, real estate investment and anti-corruption.

The ministry’s chief inspector will take responsibility for conducting the inspections and reporting to the minister.

The inspections will look at the implementation of housing regulations by many real estate projects that are under construction.

The inspectorate will look into Military Petrochemical JSC (MIPEC)’s projects including Mipec City View and Mipec Riverside in Hà Nội.

MBLand will also have its projects inspected including Square Field in Tây Ninh and Golden Field and Grand Plaza in Hà Nội.

An inspection will also be conducted of Lạc Hồng Investment JSC’s projects such as the N0 一 T 五 high-end apartment complex in Hà Nội, Kim Bôi Resort in Hòa Bình, Quảng Ninh apartment building in Quảng Ninh, Tam Đảo complex and Hà Tiên urban area phase two in Vĩnh Phúc.

Inspectors will work with Sài Gòn Construction Corporation (SGCC) at its SGCC Building and Soho Premier Bình Thạnh in HCM City.

Sacomreal will have Carillon  五, Jamona City, Jamona Golden Silk, TTC Plaza Bình Thạnh and Jamona Heights in HCM City undergo inspections.

In addition, MoC’s inspectors will carry out inspections on State management in the construction, housing and estate sector. They will look at the licensing process for organisations and individuals in the  二0 一 五- 一 八 period in Hà Nội, HCM City, Hà Giang, Hưng Yên, Nghệ An, Hà Tĩnh, Khánh Hòa, Ninh Thuận, Lâm Đồng and Bình Thuận.

Last year, the ministry conducted  九 三 inspections in the aforementioned sectors. It released  七 二 inspection results in  二0 一 八 and proposed fines of VNĐ 九 二 七. 五 billion.

It also proposed handling the violations of  一 五 五 organisations and  二 三 五 individuals after its inspections in  二0 一 八. — VNS
